With the continual growth of Colchester Zoo and it’s standing as an international visitor attraction DMC were pleased to be asked to find an environmentally friendly photocopying solution.
“The Zoo were specific that equipment had to be ECO friendly and supported by the manufacturers environmental policy”.
“This meant collation and careful studying of various policies before presenting them to the Zoo and making final recommendations. By being in the unique position of having access to all of the major manufacturers solutions rather than being tied to a just few made this achievable” comments Ian Davey of DMC.
2006 saw DMC embark on their “Consultancy for Schools and Charities” programme. This project involved undertaking site visits and evaluating current reprographic equipment with the aim of reducing costs. A report is generally produced and plans put in place for short to long term cost reductions.
We are pleased to say that a number of local Schools and Charities have already benefited and we will be continuing the programme.
